If you have advanced prostate cancer, ask your doctor about PSMA

If your prostate cancer has spread, ask your doctor about your PSMA (prostate-specific membrane antigen) status. The answer could make a difference in how you and your health care team manage your prostate cancer.

Get a PSMA-PET scan to find out your PSMA status

Even if you have had a PSMA-PET scan before, another scan could give you new information. After multiple treatments it could:

  • Tell you if your PSMA status is positive

  • Show you if your cancer has spread

This means you can help direct the course of your journey.
